Major and Minor Sins in Islam
Allah says in the Qur’an: “If you avoid great sins which you are forbidden, We will expiate from you your (small) sins and cause you to enter an honorable (place of) entering. (Surah 4, Verse 31).

Ajwa dates are soft and fruity, quite dark in color and tend to be a more of dry variety of date from Saudi Arabia, that is actually cultivated in Madinah Munawwara.

Prophetic Medicine – Henna
The Henna plant is an evergreen shrub about 6m (20ft) high by 6m (20ft) wide. It has small cream fragrant flowers and grows in tropical grasslands mainly in Africa and Southern Asia, and originated in Egypt. The Henna leaves have no odour even when crushed between the fingers.

The Siwaak is a natural toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss. It comes from the Arak which is a small tree that grows up to 3 meters high. Its leaves are small, thick and oval in shape and its smell resembles that of mustard.

Prophetic Medicine – Barley – Talbina
Barley (the essence of Talbinah) is a rugged cereal grain from the grass family, it can grow up to 1 ½ to 4 feet tall and flourishes in cool climates.

Prophetic Medicine – Olive Oil
Ibn al-Qayyim described the benefits of olive oil in his book Prophetic Medicine. He said that the characteristics of this oil corresponded to the type of olives from which it came from; oil pressed from ripe olives was the better than oil from unripe olives.

Black musk is well known for its strong and high-quality fragrance, it is a concentrated oil, thick and smooth in appearance, dark in colour with a very rich smell and with a musky note.

Black Seed or black cumin originates from the western Asia. It is also known as habbatul sawdah (blacks Seed) or habbatul barakaah (blessed seed) in the Arabic language.

Allah says in Surah Nahl verse 68 and 69:
“And your Lord inspired the bees, saying: “Take you habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in what they erect.”

Our religion came as a guidance for each one of us, what is narrated from the Sunnah complements what there is in the Qur’an and these are the main principal sources for us Muslims to follow and to use as guidance.
