The methodology of Islam is built upon honoring the human and his deeds guiding him to success in this life and the hereafter, as the prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) taught us that Allah does not look at our figures, nor at our attire but He looks at our hearts and accomplishments. He also reminded us never to belittle a good deed. No one can tell which action will be the reason for gaining Allah’s Pleasure, entering Jannah, and salvation from Hellfire. For that reason, it is a sign of human intelligence to seek what will benefit him, especially the easy deeds that will result in a great reward from Allah. Allah Almighty accepts only what is pure and done for His sake. Mercy of Allah comes in various forms, one of these forms is the easy deeds that can grant Muslim great rewards. Thus, we should familiarize ourselves with these easy deeds that come with great rewards, and turn these deeds into a good habit.
performing and establishing the fard prayer (the obligatory 5 prayer)
Allah the Exalted has said: ‘The most beloved thing with which My slave comes nearer to Me is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (prayer or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him.” 5 prayers a day will get you closer to Allah, and will be the reason that Allah grants you His Care. Performing the 5 prayers in an excellent manner is like washing away sins and troubles. Allah’s Messenger said, “Tell me, if there were a river at the door of one of you in which he washed five times daily, would any of his filthiness remain?” When he received the reply that none of it would remain, he said, “That is like the five times of prayer by which God obliterates sins.” It keeps you connected to Allah giving you the chance to make dua, remember Allah, and revive your heart. Your five prayers are your gate for showing your absolute submission to Allah, and declaring your identity as a Muslim believing in Allah and His Messenger.
Remembrance of Allah (Zikr Allah)
Zikr Allah is the greatest status that provides a believer with fuel, knowledge, and the Light of Allah. It is the source of guidance to the hearts of the believers. If a Muslim wants to revive his heart, he must start with the remembrance of Allah. It is the secret behind all success. Muslims can repeat 100 of Zikr in less than 10 mins. The prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) said ”Whoever recites (Glory is to Allah and praise is to Him) (سُبْحـانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ) one hundred times in the morning and in the evening will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone having done better than this except for someone who had recited it more.” Also, there are two words that are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, and are loved by the Most Merciful One (Glorified is Allah and praised is He, Glorified is Allah the Most Great) (سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ). Another benefit of Zikr besides rewards is that when you do Zikr Allah mentions you with His Mercy, the messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Allah the Exalted says: ‘I am as my slave expects me to be, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me inwardly, I will remember him inwardly, and if he remembers Me in an assembly, I will remember him in a better assembly (i.e., in the assembly of angels).” Remembrance of Allah is a shield against various types of evil like the Nafs, Satan, and even evil people. By the Grace of Allah, the remembrance of morning and evening can protect you from these sorts of evil, that is why the prophet Muhammed recommended us to repeat it daily in the morning and evening.

Reading one page of the Quran takes less than 10 mins, but the reward is immense. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.” You are rewarded for every letter you read, and remember that Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And even if reading the Quran is hard for non-Arabic speakers, we should remember that Allah is the Most Generous as The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Such a person as recites the Qur’an and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). And such a person exerts himself to learn the Qur’an by heart, and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward.” It means that for all the difficulties that come with learning the Holy Quran Allah will give rewards in return.
In the end, we ask Allah to guide us and make it easy for us. We ask Allah to pave the way to for these easy acts of worship that can make us among the people of Jannah.
